Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Delivery and Collection: Promptly deliver items to staff, vendors, and clients, obtaining necessary signatures and documentation upon completion.


• Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries, adapting quickly to unforeseen changes or traffic.


• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (motorcycle or other) and report any problems to management.


• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, recipients' information, and any issues encountered.


• Communication: Coordinate with the main dispatch office, clients, and team members, providing updates on delivery status and handling inquiries professionally.


• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding road safety and transportation, including drug/alcohol testing requirements. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a dispatch rider or in a related field is often required.


• Licenses: Must possess a valid driver's license (or specific motorcycle license) with a clean driving record.


• Knowledge of Area: Sound geographical knowledge of the delivery area (e.g., city streets, highways, common locations).


• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to lift/carry packages, bend, and perform basic mobility functions in various weather conditions.
