A reputable resort located in Akosombo is seeking to recruit a Gardener to support the maintenance and beautification of its outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the resort’s gardens and green areas are well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscape areas through trimming, weeding, watering, and mowing
Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees
Apply fertilizers, pest control, and other treatments as needed
Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment
Keep outdoor walkways and public areas clean and free of debris
Identify and report signs of plant disease or pest infestation
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure a tidy and attractive environment
Requirements:
Prior experience in gardening or landscaping is an advantage
Basic knowledge of plants, soil care, and garden maintenance
Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods
Attention to detail and a passion for nature and aesthetics
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Willingness to work flexible hours.
