Porter / Conference Assistant

We are looking for a Porter to serve as the first point of contact to assist our guests. Porter responsibilities include carrying guests’ luggage, fixing minor issues (like changing light bulbs) and cleaning building areas, including entrances. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly. Keep in mind that our Porter position requires working in shifts, occasionally on weekends or evenings.
Set up and break down meeting and conference rooms (furniture, AV equipment, supplies).
Greet and assist guests and delegates during events.
Ensure cleanliness and readiness of all conference and public areas.
Provide basic technical support or coordinate with AV/IT teams.
Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
Work closely with event coordinators and other hotel departments.
Maintain stock of conference materials and supplies.
Adhere to health and safety standards during all tasks.
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physically active role suited for individuals with good stamina and a service-oriented mindset.
