Our multinational client who provides hospitality services requires an experienced Chef De Partie to join their food and beverage team. You will be responsible for organising the kitchen operations including preparing and serving range of dishes as required. In addition, manage the junior colleagues (commis chefs, cooks, kitchen attandants and stewards) of the kitchen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
Cook and serve dishes according to the restaurant’s menu.
As and when required conduct shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known to all team members.
Support the line manager and other related managers in ensuring all departmental performance of employees is productive.
Conduct on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures and maintain a record of progress for each employee.
Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guideline.
Ensure new employee attends Corporate and departmental orientation within the agreed timelines respectively.
Handles employee related performance and conduct issues according the laid-out policies and departmental procedures, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Support departmental operational budgets including its management.
Logs all security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
Handle all departmental complaints and resolve with the support of line manager.
