Role Overview
The Finance Manager is responsible for the strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial management of the institution. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Finance Manager will collaborate with leadership, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to uphold financial integrity and efficiency.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive accounting system that ensures accurate, complete, and timely financial information for decision-making.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded promptly, preventing omissions or duplications.
- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard the school’s assets and financial integrity.
- Ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely, and relevant, free from unnecessary clutter, and useful for decision-making.
Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of using a , ensuring that all projected expenditures contribute to the school’s mission.
- Implement to monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and provide monthly reports to management.

Financial Reporting and Compliance
