EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or any related field of study.
• A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Marketing and Advertising Manager or in a similar role.
• Qualification in Digital Marketing preferably within the FMCG industry is an advantage.
REQUIREMENTS
• Possess a deep and proven understanding of digital media, with a track record of using digital media effectively.
• Proven and excellent communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion.
• Must have an in-depth understanding of advertising with the ability to run social media campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, professionals, and outsourced agencies.
• Must have working knowledge of industry-related data analysis tools.
• Ability to effectively create and deliver new campaign ideas in a team setting.
• Possess strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
• Must have experience in multitasking and managing several projects simultaneously.
• Must be a go-getter, highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Should have determination towards personal and organizational sales targets.
• Must be energetic, flexible, and have the ability to take the organization to new heights.

Description
Our client, an agricultural company is looking for an experienced person to fill the role of a Marketing and Advertising Manager to assist in the operations of the business.
ROLE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a powerful brand for the company’s products, building and implementing an effective strategy for all marketing, promotional, social media branding, and advertising activities. He/she will also manage distributors with respect to the overall operations, infrastructure, processes, and people capability.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strategies and tactics to get word out about the company and drive qualified traffic.
- Create successful marketing and advertising strategies and oversee the implementation from ideation to execution.
- Choose the most cost-efficient and penetrative mediums from options like outdoor, radio, television, internet, and social media.
- Ensure that the advertising campaigns are highly effective.
- Create and implement outdoor and in-store promotional activities.
- Continuously upgrade knowledge in digital advertising and identify new strategies and tactics to maximize the company's brand visibility in the market.
- Closely monitor stock offtake from retail and distribution to measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and promotions. Create mitigation measures with alacrity.
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
- Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
