QUALIFICATION
HND / Degree In Architectural Engineering
2-3 years working experience as Architect
Other professional qualification is an added advantage
SKILLS REQUIRED
Good design and drawing skills to demonstrate your flair for architecture
A strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
Sound analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to details
A keen interest in buildings and the built environment - an insight into Building Information Modelling (BIM) will also be a significant advantage
Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals
Good organizational, transaction and negotiation skills
Strong teamwork and leadership skills
An understanding of the relationship between people, buildings and the wider environment
An awareness of sustainability and waste management
A first-rate understanding of construction processes
Project management skills
Excellent IT skills, including CAD skills and Architectural software skills

Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a every project, inline with company principles and in some cases help to select a site
- Work in consultation with other professionals about designs all projects
- Strategically assess the needs of the every building project and its users, advising the client on the practicality of their projects before execution.
- Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client on every project
- Use IT skills in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Work within company and client financial budgets and deadlines at all times
- Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications for all projects
- Work with other departments on specify nature and quality of materials required for each projects
- Prepare documents for tender applications and presentations when necessary draw up tender documents for contracts
- Assist in strategic negotiation with contractors and other professionals on each project
- Prepare applications for planning and building control departments
- Strategically control a project from start to finish
- Carry out regular site visits to check on progress and ensure that the project is running on time and to budget
- Work to resolve problems and issues that arise during construction project
- Ensure that the environmental impact of the project is managed, and assess the impact of every project on the local environment
- Work closely with government and local authorities to ensure compliance with state laws and other regulators on each project.
