Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plant Supervisor to oversee the operations, maintenance, and management of our construction plant and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage daily operations of the plant, ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and control inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet equipment needs for various projects.
• Train and mentor plant staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, repairs, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven 5-8 years’ experience as a Plant Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction plant and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices.
• Proficiency in maintenance software and record-keeping.
• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
