HR/Admin Officer
Job Summary: The HR/Admin Officer is a critical role supporting the HR Manager in managing and overseeing all aspects of human resources and administrative functions. This position ensures the smooth operation of HR processes, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. Additionally, the HR/Admin Officer will handle various administrative tasks to support the office's daily operations, including coordinating meetings, managing supplies, and liaising with vendors. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring the efficiency of our office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide support for employee development.
Administrative:
- Handle office administration tasks, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in a technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HR software and databases.
- Familiarity with engineering industry standards and practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
