Insight HR Solutions is mandated by one of its clients in the Power Industry to recruit a qualified Civil Engineer for its operations in Ghana. The project will be located in Kumasi.

NB: This is a 1-2 years contract.

Key Responsibilities: As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations


• Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs


• Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations


• Liaising with architects and subcontractors


• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures


• Resolving design and development problems


• Managing budgets and project resources


• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries


• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements


• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects


• Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.


• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time
