TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS
A renowned consulting Engineering firm is looking for candidates are smart, sharp, motivated and has a keen appetite for data and information in all its forms while demonstrating excellent attention to detail and quality. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Transportation and Traffic Engineering.
Interested candidates must have the following:
• Minimum 5-years of combined experience in Civil Engineering and Project Management.
• MSc. in Civil Engineering – (Transportation, Traffic, Highway)
• Professional Engineer (PE) of Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) required.
• Traffic Planning and Engineering, Signal Plans, and Traffic Study experience.
• Competency in Technical Project execution and in writing and pricing scopes of work for proposals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) programs.
• Familiarity with traffic modelling software (SIDRA, VISSIM etc.) a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and industry standards.
• Knowledge of International and National Laws and Regulations pertaining to transportation infrastructure, engineering and construction.
• Must enjoy and have the skill for Researching, reading, and interpreting a variety of technical engineering documents such as Technical Papers, survey data, blueprints, specifications, material testing data and computer generated data
• Strong Technical writing skills
• Skill in the preparation of reports based on results of studies and investigations; provide technical support for various computer databases and applications.
• Ability to Conduct or supervise studies and investigations; analyze and evaluate a wide variety of engineering data; develop recommendations and prepare reports based on results.
• Experience in performing lead worker responsibilities, which may include providing general instruction, organizing and prioritizing work assignments, assigning and reviewing work, coaching and training, providing guidance and instruction in the proper and most efficient methods of accomplishing tasks, and providing input to the direct supervisor on staffing decisions and performance management.
