1. Minimum of SHS certificate or Technical School certificate. 2. Formal training in Auto Electricals or Auto Electronics. 3. NVTI Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Automotive Engineering preferred. 4. Apprenticeship training under a professional auto electrician. Skills & Abilities: 1. Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems. 2. Ability to diagnose wiring, ignition, lighting, and electronic control faults. 3. Experience with diagnostic tools and computer-based systems. 4. Good color vision and attention to detail. 5. Understanding of battery systems, alternators, starters, and sensors.

Key Responsibilities
 1. Inspect and diagnose electrical faults in vehicles and equipment.
2. Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting systems, ignition systems, and electronic components.
3. Test and replace defective parts, such as alternators, starters, and batteries.
4. Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals. Ensure all repairs and installations meet safety and quality standards.
5. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed. Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to ensure vehicle functionality.
