The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of of the company will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, overseeing the company's overall operations, and ensuring financial sustainability and growth. The CEO will drive business development, foster key stakeholder relationships, and lead the company in achieving its vision and long-term objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of international trade, supply chain management, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Drive business expansion through market development, partnerships, and diversification.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the agriculture, trading, and export sectors.
- Oversee the formulation and implementation of long-term business plans.
2. Financial Oversight & Profitability
- Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost-control measures.
- Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to optimize financial performance.
- Secure funding, negotiate financial deals, and ensure compliance with banking and tax regulations.
3. Operations & Supply Chain Management
- Ensure smooth and efficient company operations across all business units.
- Oversee supply chain, procurement, logistics, and production efficiency.
- Implement best practices in quality control, risk management, and compliance.
- Drive operational efficiency while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
4. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure the company adheres to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) regulations, tax laws, and trade policies.
- Uphold corporate governance principles and ethical business practices.
5. Stakeholder Management & Negotiations
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry regulators, suppliers, and customers.
- Negotiate business deals, contracts, and foreign exchange agreements to maximize profitability.
- Represent the company at high-level industry forums, trade missions, and investor meetings.
6. Leadership & People Management
- Provide leadership and direction to the executive team and employees.
- Foster a high-performance culture and drive employee engagement.
- Develop succession planning and talent development strategies.
- Ensure alignment of all departments with the company’s objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA) or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in leadership roles, preferably in trading, agribusiness, or export industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, trade policies, and compliance regulations.
- Proven track record in business growth, strategic planning, and revenue generation.
- Experience in managing complex supply chain and export operations.
