Four of the Ghana Premier League’s most consistent tacticians have been shortlisted for the NASCO Coach of the Month award for October.
The nominees are Medeama SC’s Tanko Ibrahim, FC Samartex’s Christopher Ennin, Young Apostles’ Abdul Henan Abu, and Aduana FC’s Cioba Aristica.
The quartet earned their nominations following a month of tactical excellence and consistent team performances in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Medeama SC head coach Tanko Ibrahim led the defending champions to an unbeaten run in October, recording three victories and one draw. His side scored six goals and conceded three during the period, maintaining their push for a top-four finish.
At FC Samartex, coach Christopher Ennin guided his side to a similar record of three wins and one draw, with his team scoring six goals and conceding just two. His balanced approach between attack and defence has been key to Samartex’s impressive start to the season.
Young Apostles’ head coach, Abdul Henan Abu, also enjoyed a strong month, steering his team to two wins and one draw from three matches. His side found the net four times and conceded only once, earning praise for their discipline and compact defensive play.
Aduana FC’s Romanian coach, Cioba Aristica, capped an impressive month with three wins in four matches, suffering only one defeat. Under his guidance, Aduana scored five goals and conceded two as they continued to challenge at the top end of the league table.
The winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month award for October will receive a 40-inch NASCO television set and a NASCO chest freezer as prizes. The monthly honour recognises coaches who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, tactical awareness, and consistency throughout the league season.
