Four of the Ghana Premier League’s standout performers in October have been shortlisted for the NASCO Player of the Month award. They are Aduana FC’s Emmanuel Marfo, Medeama SC’s Emmanuel Owusu, Gold Stars’ Samuel Attah Kumi, and Nations FC’s Emmanuel Annor.
The nominees earned their places after a month of impressive displays in the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, each contributing significantly to their club’s performance.
Aduana forward Emmanuel Marfo featured in four matches, scoring twice and earning one Man of the Match award. His clinical finishing and all-round play helped Aduana maintain their early-season form, including a spectacular strike in their away win over Hohoe United.
Medeama’s creative midfielder Emmanuel Owusu also stood out with one goal, two assists, and a Man of the Match performance in three appearances. His vision and link-up play have been vital for the defending champions, who continue to push for the top spot.
Gold Stars’ prolific striker Samuel Attah Kumi scored four goals in six matches, claiming two Man of the Match awards despite his team playing two fewer games in the month. His consistent form has made him one of the league’s most dangerous forwards.
Nations FC attacker Emmanuel Annor matched that tally with four goals of his own and one Man of the Match performance, demonstrating resilience and sharpness even as his club endured a difficult run of fixtures.
The winner of the October NASCO Player of the Month award will receive a 43-inch NASCO digital satellite television and a NASCO double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The award, sponsored by NASCO Electronics, continues to recognise and reward excellence in the Ghana Premier League by highlighting the month’s top individual performers.
The announcement of the winner is expected to further heighten excitement as clubs and fans celebrate the league’s most influential players of the season so far.
