The Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC) has elected Natural Resource Governance Analyst and Community Activist Richard Ellimah as its new Chair for the 2025–2026 term.
Mr. Ellimah, who represents Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) on the Committee, was elected on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He takes over from Constantine K. M. Kudzedzi.
In his remarks after the election, Mr. Ellimah expressed appreciation to members for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to build on the solid foundation laid by his predecessors.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting PIAC’s mandate of promoting transparency and accountability in the management and use of Ghana’s petroleum revenues.
