The Reverend Joshua William Acheampong, District Pastor of the Patasi Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, has implored Christians to abide by the tenets of the Bible in all their endeavours.
He said the basis of Christianity was to remain spiritually upright whiles salvaging society from evil deeds.
He said the time had come for well-meaning Christians to shun activities and practices that tended to dent the image of Christendom.
Rev. Acheampong was speaking at the maiden anniversary celebration of the church's Women's Fellowship at Patasi in Kumasi on Sunday. It was on the theme, "Let Us Grow Unto Maturity".
He blamed the high rate of immoral activities and social vices by some of the youth to the inability of some Christians to propagate the gospel to enlighten and change them for the society's progress.
Rev. Acheampong said Christian women should continually advise teenagers in the church to always dress decently and also be disciplined at all times for the realization and enhancement of their God-given talents.
Madam Christiana Owusu-Ansah, President of the Fellowship said in the era of increased social vices among young Christians, it behoved on Christians to commit resources to propagate the gospel to help save their souls.
