Mr Kwasi Adu-Gyan, the Bono East Regional Minister has inaugurated the Regional Education Office complex at Akumsa-Domase in the Nkoranza Municipality of the region.
Attached to the facility are two bungalows to accommodate senior staff of the Regional Education Directorate.
Speaking at a short ceremony at Akumsa-Domase, Mr Adu-Gyan commended the government for the rapid transformation of the region, saying development was progressing steadily in all the Municipalities and Districts in the region.
He said the region had witnessed improved road, health and educational infrastructure and improved water systems, saying similar education offices and staff bungalows had been built at Kintampo, Prang and Atebubu as well as residential accommodation for the health and feeder roads and the agriculture directorates.
"These and many other projects have improved the quality of life of the people in the region," he stated. Nana Kugbeadzor-Bakateyi II, the Bono East Regional Director of Education commended the government for the offices for the education directorates and assured proper maintenance of the facilities.
Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, the Paramount Chief of the Nkoranza Traditional Area who presided, also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the government for her commitment towards improving quality education and facilitating the rapid development of the Bono East region.
