The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Thursday announced that its Presidential Candidate, President John Agyekum Kufuor has won 53 per cent of the total valid votes cast in Tuesday's Presidential Elections and was awaiting the formal announcement of the results by the Electoral Commission."
