The 2011 Congress Committee of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) wishes to confirm that the Central Committee of the party at a meeting
held on Thursday June 16, 2011 approved the proposed schedule of congresses and conferences for the year as follows:
1. The first Congress to elect national officers will take place from July 23rd to 24th 2011 at Takoradi in the Western Region.
2. The second Congress to elect a flag bearer will take place on September 30th, 2011 at Tamale in the Northern Region.
3. Prior to the first congress, regional conferences will be
held as follows:
i. Eastern Region: Thursday June 30th, 2011.
ii. Northern Region: Saturday July 2nd, 2011.
iii. Upper East Region: Sunday July 3rd, 2011.
iv. Brong Ahafo Region: Saturday July 9th, 2011.
v. Upper West Region: Saturday July 10th 2011.
vi. Western Region: Saturday July 16th 2011.
vii. Central Region: Sunday July 17th 2011.
viii. Volta Region: Tuesday July 19th 2011.
ix. Greater Accra: Thursday July 21st 2011.
x. Ashanti Region: (Already Held).
