Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has stated that his wild celebrations after Kotoko’s late winner against Accra Hearts of Oak was pre-determined.
He said this in a post-game interview after Kotoko beat Hearts 1-0 with Albert Amoah scoring the winner in the 95th minute.
After the goal, Dr. Ogum took off his tie and was captured waving it in front of the ecstatic Kotoko fans as the Porcupine Warriors bagged their fourth win over Hearts in a row.
Speaking on the celebration, Dr. Ogum stated that the circumstances of the game also played a part in showing his wild side.
“The manner in which the goal came. I mean look at the game we played, look at the chances we created. If I look at the way we played and the manner in which the game was going to end, I was telling myself, the game has not been fair to us.”

“The celebration was pre-determined, I had planned it in my mind at home that when we score, I will remove my tie and then go and say thank you to the fans.”
