John Ayatey, emerged winner of the 2018 MTN Invitational Golf Tournament, played at the Takoradi Golf Club, with a handicap of five.
Ayatey, placed first in the Men’s Group A with a net score of 42 ahead of two others; D. Odoom and L. Attiogbe, who came second and third with 38 and 37 points respectively. He expressed excitement of the standard of play and the level of competition from his colleagues and assured of an improved performance in next outings despite his victory.
The captain of the Takoradi Golf Club Walter Quepson, acknowledged the high standard of golf displayed by the golfers and expressed his gratitude to MTN for the unflinching support they continue to offer the Club in recent years and admonished all the participants to continue patronising products and services of the leading nation's telephony company.
Mr. Simon Amoh, the Regional Senior Manager of MTN congratulated all the golfers for a beautiful performance exhibited at such a tough but successful tournament.
“It not easy to put together over 83 golfers in a single event and witness such a high level of performance,” he said
