Twenty-Five level one volleyball coachers drawn across the country have ended a nine-day capacity building course at the Winneba National Sports College.
The participants made up of six women and 19 men were taken through topics including skills of coaching, theory training and mini-volleyball (juvenal volleyball).
The course which ended on Monday, was jointly organized by the National Sports Council and the Ghana volleyball Association.
Mr. Erasmus Adorkor, Secretary of the Ghana Volleyball Association who was the co-ordinator of the course, told the GNA Sports that Professor Varalek Rostiav, a senior instructor of the International Volleyball Federation was the resource person.
He said the association hopes that the participants would put the rich knowledge they have acquired into practice to help promote and build on the potentials of the youth to participate in the game of volleyball across the country.
