Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been recognised for his contributions to education in Africa, receiving the Transformational Leadership in Education Award at the 2025 Africa Prosperity Champions Awards and Presidential Gala Dinner.
The award acknowledges policies that have expanded access to quality education and promoted inclusivity across the continent.
The event, held as part of the 2025 Africa Prosperity Dialogues, focused on advancing economic integration under the theme “Africa’s Single Market Through Infrastructure: Invest, Connect, Integrate.”
Business leaders, policymakers, and industry experts gathered to explore strategies for strengthening trade and investment across Africa.
The discussions of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues underscored the need for deeper collaboration in trade, infrastructure, and investment to unlock the continent’s economic potential.

- Wode Maya – Tourism Promotion Award for his role in showcasing Africa’s tourism potential.
