The Eastern Regional Police Command has mounted a search for 22-year-old Amadu, a Niger national, for murdering one Hamadu Musah.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency in Koforidua on Friday the Eastern Regional Police Public Affairs Officer, Chief Inspector Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, said the suspected murderer, together with other Fulani herdsmen, lured the victim and one Amadu Abubakar into a bush at Peace-Kope near Donkorkrom in the Kwahu North District and murdered him.
He said sensing danger Amadu and the other herdsmen fled into the bush and had since not been seen.
He was last seen at Donkorkrom and is believed to be hiding in the Volta Region.
