Selena Gomez is celebrating her new beauty launch in style.
On Wednesday, March 26, the actress, singer and entrepreneur, 32, stepped out in a head-turning red ensemble for a Rare Beauty event in New York City.
Gomez opted for a bright crimson minidress with large 3D flower adorned on the skirt and oversize blazer by Magda Butrym. For a true monochromatic moment, the star added matching red Manolo Blahnik pumps.
Her shoulder-length hair was styled in a sleek, side-parted blowout, and, of course, she coordinated her makeup to her outfit with a bold red lip color.
The Only Murders in the Building star shared the news of her brand's Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush on Instagram. Along with some behind-the-scenes shots from the campaign shoot, the star wrote, "It’s blurring. It’s cushiony. It’s dreamy. And it’s here ???? NEW @rarebeauty Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush can finally be yours (I know, I know — you’ve waited long enough lol) @sephora, Sephora @kohls, and RareBeauty.com."
The latest addition to her Soft Pinch blush franchise (the original Soft Pinch Liquid Blush has become a viral TikTok beauty staple), the new matte iteration is described on Sephora.com as a "cushiony, cream-to-powder blush that gives the dreamiest flush of color with a lasting, blurred-matte finish."
In a TikTok shared by Sephora from the event, Gomez is seen inside the retail store surrounded by attendees.
"I love you guys so much and I'm so excited," she says as she addresses the crowd. "You're all gonna get a color of your choice and I'm gonna buy you one of my products on me. So you guys can just have fun, buy whatever. It's on me and I love you."
Gomez has also been promoting her and fiancé Benny Blanco's joint album I Said I Love You First. The couple recently appeared on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, where the Disney Channel alum looked back at past relationships.
"I’ve been guilty though to start. I think for me, I necessarily felt like in other situations of mine I was very reactive," she said. "I think that’s why I was alone for five years because I really needed to collect myself."
She continued, "I think in the past, that’s why I said to him all the time 10 years ago it’s not that I wouldn't have wanted to be with you, I just wouldn’t have been in the right headspace, and I don’t think you deserved what I had gone through before."
Gomez and Blanco, 37, started dating in 2023 and went public with their relationship in December 2023. They got engaged the following December when the music producer surprised Gomez with a stunning marquise diamond.
