Saaka Dauda, skipper of newly promoted side Bofoakwa Tano, has been named the best player of the Ghana Premier League for the month of September.
The attacker emerged the overall best player of the month having scored two goals in three games and to help his side sit on the summit of the league log.
He beat competition from other experienced and players including his teammate, Elijah Addai and Stephen Amankona of Berekum Chelsea.
Others who were nominated for the award are Evans Wiredu of Karela FC and Baba Hamadu Musa of FC Samartex 1996.
During the month under review, the Bofoakwa skipper also bagged two Man of the Match awards having played a total of 255 minutes.
For his achievement, he will be presented with a 43inch NASCO television.
