This follows her outstanding performance on the pitch and demonstration of leadership qualities for the female national team.

In an interview with the media after the event, she dedicated the award to all female rugby players in Ghana and Mr. Herbert Mensah – President of Ghana Rugby Union.

"I am really privileged and honoured to receive this award. I also want to say a big thank you to the President of Ghana Rugby, Mr. Herbert Mensah, for his support and inspiration, the Board Members especially Rian Malan, sponsors and my family.

“Above all I am grateful to Allah for giving us life to meet this day. I believe this award would serve as an inspiration to work harder. To the other ladies such as Anita, Kadija, Sandra and all the others I ask that we work tirelessly to achieve success. I dedicate this award to the Ghana Rugby Ladies," Inusah said.
