The Paramount Chief of Ve Traditional Area and President of the Ve Traditional Council, Togbega Delume VII, said the Traditional Council was deeply saddened to receive the news of the tragic and untimely demise of the eight gallant and patriotic Ghanaians in a helicopter crash.
A statement issued and signed by the Spokesperson for the Council, Tsiamega Tsendze VI, extended heartfelt condolences to President John Dramani Mahama, the families of the victims, the Ghana Armed Forces and the good people of Ghana “for this irreplaceable loss.”
“Accept our heartfelt condolences during these difficult times. Please, know that our thoughts and prayers are with the families as they navigate the pain of this profound loss. In life and memory, they touched the hearts of many with their kindness, warmth, and spirit. Their legacy will be in the lives they had influenced and the love they shared.
“Though words can do little to ease the sorrow and pain the families feel, we hope that they will find comfort in the support of those who care about them, and in the cherished memories that will forever remain. May the souls of the departed patriots rest well in the bosom of our Supreme Creator. Rest in perfect peace,” the statement added.
