The Predecessors Awards Worldwide of Relevant Achievers Impacting Nations (RAIN) on Saturday, August 31, honoured 40 heroes in America.
His Excellency Johnny Ford, Founder of the World Conference of Mayors, praised Author Ralph Antwi, Founding President of RAIN Foundation, and his team for their exceptional vision and dedication to recognising heroes globally.
Similarly, His Excellency Jimmie Gardner, President of the World Conference of Mayors, commended the team's efforts and invited the guests to visit Ghana, highlighting it as one of Africa's premier destinations.
In all, 12 women and 18 men were honoured on the night.
Last year, Professor George Einstein, Head of the Einstein Medical Institute and cousin of the renowned physicist Albert Einstein was awarded Outstanding Personality of the Year.
Other honorees included D. Jorge Parrott, Dr Nancy Daniels, Princess Asie Kabuki Ocansey, Willie Snead III, Dr Adrian Fox.
The upcoming edition of PAPA2024, scheduled for November 11 in Paris, marks the Europe edition of the prestigious event.
Coinciding with PAPA2024, the International Youth Shakers Conclave will take place, a groundbreaking ceremony honoring the Predecessors Awards Worldwide's Succession projects.
Author Ralph Antwi announced that this occasion will also witness the inaugural Global Youth Shakers Awards.
Furthermore, 40 exceptional individuals and organisations making remarkable contributions to the global youth community will be recognised and honoured.
Nominations for the awards are now open and will close on Tuesday, September 10.
