The annual Harvest and Thanksgiving Service for the 2018-2019 Academic Year took place on Tuesday 23rd October 2018.
As has been the tradition, the school community contributed food, clothing, toys, toiletries, cash, etc to be donated to the needy.
At the Service, the Rev. Bose preached a rousing sermon which emphasized the blessings we have received from God and the need to give back effortlessly as a token of our appreciation to God.
Donations were made the Princess Marie Louis Children’s Hospital, Compassion In Action and the Village of Hope Orphanage at Gomoa Fetteh.
SETOR KUDIABOR AND SHAINA ANUSEH WIN BRITISH COUNCIL PARTNER SCHOOLS GLOBAL NETWORK AWARDS
At a Ceremony held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons on Friday 16th November, 2018, Shaina Anuseh and Kevin Setor Kudiabor were awarded for exemplary performance at the IGCSE exams in June.
Shaina Anuseh was awarded for being the best in Mathematics in Ghana whilst Kevin Kudiabor was the Best in Physics. Setor was also shortlisted for recognition in IGCSE Mathematics without coursework.
The awards hold special significance for Merton as several brilliant students have been recognised over the years but this was the first in the history of the school that the ultimate award had been clinched.
