A Tarkwa circuit court has sentenced 18-year-old farmer, King Solomon to three years imprisonment, for stealing a generator, a computer and an amplifier belonging to the Wassa Nkran Junior High School.
He pleaded guilty.
Prosecuting, police Chief Inspector Edward Paddy told court, presided over by Mr Samuel Obeng Diawuo that, on February 16, this year, at about 1830 hours, the convict and one Kofi Baayi, now at large, took advantage of the absence of the students and the teachers and broke into the staff common room of the school.
They managed to take away a Honda Electric power generator valued at GHC500, one HP computer also valued GHC400 and an equalizer valued at GHC50, totaling GHC950.00
