The Kotoku Traditional Council in Eastern Region will meet for the first time in 10 years on Thursday May 13 to appoint Judicial Committees.
A statement signed by Mr Razak El-Alawa, Special Media Adviser to the President of Eastern Regional House of Chiefs, said the decision was reached at a joint meeting of the House and Council.
The meeting, convened to discuss its inability to meet for the past 10 years, was attended by all divisional chiefs in the traditional area, the
Queen Mother, Nana Akua Asantewaa III and Nana Owusu Gyamadu III, Eastern Region representative on the Council of State and six members of Eastern
Regional House of Chiefs.
They were Daasebre Professor (Emeritus) Oti Boateng, President of the House, Okotwasuo Katamanto Owarae Agyekum, Vice-President, Nana Osei Nyarko III, Nana Appiah Kumi II and Nene Sasaku IV, and Nana Ofei Agyemang, representing Nana Addo Dankwa III, Okuapemhene.
