Companies House, the government agency which holds information on all UK businesses, is warning of a phishing attack which uses an email very similar to its own.
Businesses are receiving emails claiming there has been a complaint about them and Companies House is warning people not to reply to them.
Phishing is an attempt to gain confidential details or money by disguising emails as appearing as if they are from a trustworthy source.
