The management of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana would organise Ghana Entrepreneurs Awards 2010 in Accra on Saturday, November 20.
A statement issued in Accra on Monday and signed by Mr Sam Ato Gaisie, Founder and Chief
Executive Officer of Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, said it was a collaborative effort to unite entrepreneurs and helps give them a stronger voice in the public discussion about the country's economic future.
It is being jointly organised with the management of Segass Media(SM), brands and events
management consultant.
The statement said the awards would recognise and award Ghanaian entrepreneurs for their outstanding entrepreneurship.
These awards are accorded to the exemplary few who have shown outstanding performance in
the communication of their visions, brands and strategies.
The statement said 30 awards would be given and the highest in Overall Best Entrepreneur of
the Year (Gold Award).
Some of the awards are Best Entrepreneur Achievements Award, Best Entrepreneur in
Innovations, Outstanding Export, Information Technology; Savings and Loans; Insurance; Banking
and Non-banking.
The rest are Best Entrepreneur in Books and Stationery; Pharmaceuticals, Education,
Manufacturing, Advertising/Outdoor Advertising, Media Broadcasting Radio, Media Broadcasting
Television; Automobile; Cosmetics and Personal Care in Non-Alcoholic Beverage and Transportation.
There would also be awards for the Best Entrepreneur in Hospitality and Tourism, Wood
Furniture, Printing, Construction, Agriculture, Livestock and Poultry, Aviation and Freight
Forwarding, Medical Centre, Electricals and Real Estate.
