Description
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing funding from various sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporations. The Grant Writer will research, write, and submit grant proposals that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities from a variety of sources.
- Write compelling and persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents.
- Develop budgets and financial plans for grant proposals in collaboration with the finance team.
- Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Track the progress of submitted proposals and manage ongoing communication with funders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation required by funders.
- Work closely with program staff to gather information necessary for proposals.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in grant writing and funding.
