JOB SUMMARY

The resource will be responsible for driving the company van for sales deliveries and transporting the CEO as needed. The driver should be familiar with the Tema and Accra areas to effectively supply products to customers. Additionally, the driver will assist with warehouse tasks when driving duties are not required.

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the company van to deliver products to customers in Tema and Accra, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.


• Transport the CEO to various locations as needed, ensuring punctuality and safety.


• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries and CEO transport, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.


• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the company van to ensure a professional appearance and reliable operation.


• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, checking oil, water, lights, tires, and other essentials.


• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly to management to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.


• Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance, submitting regular reports to management.


• Ensure the vehicle is regularly serviced and adheres to all road safety regulations, scheduling appointments, as necessary.


• Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies, maintaining a clean driving record.


• Ensure all deliveries are made following company procedures, obtaining necessary signatures and documentation from customers.


• Maintain a valid driver’s license and renew it as required, staying up to date with any necessary certifications.


• Assist with loading and unloading products from the warehouse to the delivery van, ensuring careful handling of goods.


• Help maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, assisting with inventory management and other tasks as needed.


• Provide support for warehouse staff with any other tasks when driving duties are not required.


• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer concerns or issues professionally and courteously.


• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and ensure satisfaction, maintaining a positive company image.


• Any other responsibilities given by management.


• Reporting to the CEO but in his absence, the Admin and Finance Manager.
