MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a transit mixer truck for the transportation of ready-mix concrete.


• Maneuver the truck in challenging environments, including construction sites and narrow roads.


• Deliver concrete to customer sites promptly and according to the delivery schedule.


• Operate the mixer drum to maintain concrete consistency during transit and delivery.


• Communicate with the customer or site supervisor to ensure proper delivery and placement of concrete.


• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.


• Report any mechanical issues or damage to the Transport Manager immediately.


• Clean the mixer drum and truck after each delivery to prevent material build-up.


• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Drive responsibly, respecting traffic laws and company policies.


• Participate in regular safety training and briefings.


• Accurately complete delivery tickets, logs, and other required paperwork.


• Maintain records of vehicle inspections and fuel usage.


• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.


• Address any delivery-related inquiries courteously and report issues to the supervisor if necessary.


• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Transport Manager, such as site clean-up or truck reloading.
