Description
The Hotel Shuttle Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s shuttle service, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transportation for guests. This role involves managing shuttle drivers, maintaining schedules, ensuring vehicle safety compliance, and enhancing guest satisfaction through excellent service delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, customer service expertise, and experience in transportation logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Shuttle Service Operations
- Coordinate and manage the hotel’s shuttle schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Monitor shuttle routes, traffic conditions, and hotel occupancy levels to optimize transportation efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and special transportation needs.
Driver Supervision & Team Management
- Oversee the performance, schedules, and duties of all shuttle drivers.
- Conduct training sessions on customer service, safety protocols, and driving best practices.
- Ensure drivers maintain professionalism, proper attire, and adherence to hotel service standards.
- Handle staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and performance reviews.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Compliance
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical inspections.
- Schedule routine servicing and emergency repairs to prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain compliance with vehicle safety regulations and ensure all necessary permits and insurance are up to date.
- Keep detailed records of vehicle inspections, fuel usage, and maintenance history.
Guest Relations & Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by providing reliable, friendly, and efficient shuttle services.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and transportation-related concerns.
- Gather and analyze guest feedback to improve service delivery.
- Coordinate with the front desk and concierge team for guest transportation requests.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the hotel’s management team to align shuttle services with hotel operations.
- Provide reports on shuttle performance, driver efficiency, and guest feedback.
- Assist with budgeting for fuel, maintenance, and operational costs.
