Job Summary
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for researching, developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans. The sales and marketing manager will also manage both the Sales and Marketing and PR/Communications team and will perform managerial duties to meet the Park's operations goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Promoting the Park’s existing attractions.
Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales and marketing team meets their quotas and goals.
Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding guests’ requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the Park’s marketing goals.
Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
Implementing new sales plans and creating engaging advertisement.
Supervising the creation of engaging content for social media, website, email newsletters, and other digital platforms.
Ability to train, schedule, coach and manage and lead a dynamic Sales/PR team to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
Ability to build and maintain personal and professional networks.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in marketing and sales managerial role.
Experience in management is preferred.
Job Requirements:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing especially in the hospitality industry.
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality, entertainment, or amusement park industry.
Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a Customer Relation (CRM) system or software.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as required.
The ability to work under pressure.
