We are seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join a private school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging music lessons, fostering creativity, and nurturing students’ musical abilities. The Music Teacher will develop a curriculum that introduces students to musical theory, instruments, singing, and performance while encouraging a love for music.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction & Curriculum Development:
Develop and implement a structured music curriculum that aligns with school guidelines.
Teach music theory, vocal training, rhythm, composition, and instrument playing to students.
Introduce students to various musical genres, cultures, and historical influences.
Plan and conduct group and individual music lessons suitable for different age groups.
Performance & Engagement:
Organize and direct school concerts, recitals, and musical productions.
Prepare students for competitions, talent shows, and special events.
Encourage student participation in choirs, orchestras, or instrumental groups.
Classroom Management & Student Development
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and self-expression through music.
Assess and track students’ progress, participation, and musical skills.
Instrument & Equipment Management
Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment.
Instruct students on proper instrument handling and maintenance.
Recommend necessary instrumental purchases or repairs to school management.
