1. Role Purpose

• Gather, analyze, and report plant performance data to support informed decision-making.


• Provide IT administration and support.


• Manage CCTV systems for security.


• Develop applications to improve factory quality and efficiency.


• Administer the ERP system, including user support and internal training, to ensure smooth plant operations.

Scope 1: Plant Data Gathering and Analysis

 

• Retrieve relevant information from the different stakeholders:

• Maintain a scorecard on each of the departments


• Prepare comparative studies and gap analysis


• Update concerned managers on the progress of their departments


• Gather information on related topic by:


• Coordinating with the different departments


• Extracting available data

Scope 2: IT Administration

 

• User Support

• Provide technical assistance to staff.


• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.


• Set up new user accounts and profiles.


• System Maintenance


• Perform regular system updates.


• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.


• Network Management


• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure.


• Manage routers, access points, and switches.


• Hardware Management


• Install and configure computer hardware and peripherals.


• Manage and maintain printers, scanners, and other office equipment.


• Software Management


• Install and update software applications.


• Manage software licenses and ensure compliance.

 

• Data Management

• Ensure data security and manage backups.

Scope 3: CCTV-Related Tasks

 

• CCTV System Installation

• Plan and install CCTV systems.


• Set up cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and monitors.


• Ensure proper placement and coverage.

 

• System Configuration

• Configure system settings and recording schedules.


• Set up remote viewing access.


• Adjust camera angles and settings for optimal performance.

 

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Perform regular maintenance checks.


• Troubleshoot and repair camera and system issues.


• Replace faulty equipment.

 

• Data Management

• Ensure recorded footage is stored securely.

Scope 4: Developing Apps for Quality Improvement in the Factory

 

• App Development

• Design and develop custom applications to improve factory processes.


• Ensure apps are user-friendly and meet specified requirements.


• Integrate apps with factory systems and databases.


• Testing and Deployment


• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality and reliability.


• Deploy applications in the factory environment.


• Provide training and support to factory operators on using new applications.

Scope 5: Odoo

• ERP System Administration

• Oversee the management and maintenance of the Odoo 17 ERP system.


• Implement updates, configurations, and customizations to support business requirements.


• Ensure system security, performance, and data integrity are upheld.


• User Training and Support


• Develop and deliver internal training sessions to ensure users understand and can effectively use Odoo functionalities.


• Create training materials and provide ongoing support tailored to individual user needs.


• Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system issues and provide timely resolutions.


• Collaboration With It Team


• Work closely with the IT and Data Systems Administrator to address complex system challenges.


• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
