Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Transport Manager to manage our fleet of vehicles and drivers. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and safe transportation operations, driver compliance, and optimal fleet utilization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and supervise drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies, traffic laws, and client requirements.
2. Coordinate vehicle allocation, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime.
3. Develop and implement transport policies, procedures, and standards.
4. Monitor driver performance, conduct training, and address disciplinary issues.
5. Plan and optimize routes to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions.
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (licensing, insurance, etc.).
7. Maintain accurate records (driver logs, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, etc.).
8. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness.
9. Manage fuel consumption, monitor expenses, and optimize budget.
10. Build and maintain relationships with clients, addressing transport-related concerns.
