A reputable FMCG company specializing in tomato mix production is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Manager (Ghana Branch) to oversee sales operations and support business growth in Ghana. The role involves managing day-to-day sales activities, building strong customer relationships, and supervising a small sales team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, target-driven, and able to balance office responsibilities with active fieldwork.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new sales opportunities across Ghana to increase product reach and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and retail partners.
Support the development and execution of sales strategies tailored to the Ghanaian market.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to management for strategy adjustments.
Supervise and guide sales representatives, ensuring effective coverage of key markets.
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and local networking events.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
Conduct regular field visits to track sales activities and gather insights on consumer behavior.
Prepare and submit periodic sales performance reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2–3 years of proven experience in sales (FMCG or food industry preferred).
Strong understanding of the Ghanaian market and consumer buying patterns.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to supervise, motivate, and guide a small sales team.
Target-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
Ability to speak and understand French is a plus.
