Background and Purpose:

The business development Manager will lead sales, marketing and corporate awareness services partnering organisations by researching and distributing the organisation services to meet the company’s objective.

The business development manager will manage and direct collaboration with the technology development and support team to distribute services to deliver organisational branding and revenue objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:

     Lead and develop business promotion team to deliver profitable sales growth

     Implement changes to align team with overall company strategy.

Develop and maintain effective stakeholders’ collaborations with channel partners and business drivers.

        Develop and implement most appropriate and efficient marketing and sales structures to secure new opportunities and achieve revenue goals for the business.

     Implement marketing strategies to support business strategies and objectives.

        Monitor and review domestic and international marketplace for new process and product innovations, competitions, trends and emerging technologies.

        Provide initiatives and directions for the overall operations of various units under business development

        Build strong relationships with relevant parties to ensure consistency and adherence to brand and business objectives.

     Promote the brand to create greater awareness of the business.

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

        Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively listen, communicate, challenge and influence team members, immediate peer group and senior managers

     Self-starter and team player.

     Strong analytic and problem solving skills.

     Flexible in approach and working patterns as required

        Creative and solution driven. Looks for ways to make things happen as opposed to reasons why they can’t be done.

Educational Qualification

     Minimum 1st Degree (Masters preferably) in Marketing/ Business Administration (Marketing Option)

     Minimum 5 years post graduate marketing and sales experience in Sanitary Ware (Bath Tubs etc.)
