Our client who produces locally made furniture and interior items require an experienced Production Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Founders/CEO, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing all operational activities, including quality control and procurement, as well as team leadership.  You will also act as a liaison between leadership and artisans, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.

 

Responsibilities

• Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials.


• Implement and enforce strict quality control and safety measures in line with industry standards.


• Conduct market research on competitors and industry trends.


• Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, discuss challenges and propose solutions.


• Manage procurement and logistics and collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless workflow.


• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments when needed to improve efficiency.


• Drive cost-effective changes to procedures and strategies to enhance profitability and efficient management of resources.


• Analyze production data to identify and address inefficiencies.


• Manage and train staff to ensure they are well-equipped to meet production goals.


• Review and optimize production performance to align with business goals.
