Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management
   
   
   
   • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
   
   
   • Conduct regular inventory audits and generate reports.
   
   
   • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
   
   
   
   


2. Procurement and Vendor Coordination
   
   
   
   • Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
   
   
   • Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely deliveries.
   
   
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
   
   
   
   


3. Material Requirements Planning (MRP):
   
   
   
   • Analyze material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts.
   
   
   • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
   
   
   • Minimize material waste through effective planning and usage.
   
   
   
   


4. Logistics and Transportation
   
   
   
   • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
   
   
   • Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline transportation and reduce costs.
   
   
   • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
   
   
   
   


5. Team Supervision and Training
   
   
   
   • Supervise, train, and mentor supply chain staff to improve performance.
   
   
   • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to team members.
   
   
   • Address team challenges and foster a collaborative work environment.
   
   
   
   


6. Process Optimization
   
   
   
   • Analyze supply chain workflows and identify areas for improvement.
   
   
   • Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
   
   
   • Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
   
   
   
   


7. Compliance and Risk Management
   
   
   
   • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
   
   
   • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
   
   
   • Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes.
