DUTIES: 

1. STAFF BUSSING 

1. Ensure the timely and efficient take off and arrival of all buses on all projects in Tema.  

1. Ensure that all vehicle log books are completed and authorized at all times before movement of vehicles. 

1. Ensure the safety of tools and accessories in the vehicles. 

1. Ensure the washing and cleaning of vehicles to ensure their neatness and tidiness at all times. 

1. Ensure the safety and comfort of all buses at all times. 

1. Ensure that drivers do not siphon fuel, pick authorized passengers, involve themselves in accidents or drive under the influence of alcohol. 

1. Ensure that all driving and vehicle safety practices are strictly adhered to. 

1. Monitor staff attendance to ensure that they come to work regularly on time and drawing your supervisor attention to any absenteeism.  

1. Monitor and control vehicle movements and usage. 

1. Ensure update of vehicle history books. 

1. Ensure update of driver’s license data. 

• Ensure effective control and monitoring of company vehicles and their movements to ensure efficiency and to avoid unauthorized use. 

1. Ensure that weekend allowances for drivers and Supervisors are timely prepared and submitted for vetting and approval of payment. 

1. WORKSHOP MANAGEMENT: 

1. Liaise with Workshop head on day-to-day management of the facility. 

1. Liaise with the Workshop head to ensure the purchase of good quality spare parts at reasonable cost for repairs and maintenance of vehicles. 

1. Follow up with the workshop to ensure that repair and maintenance schedules are strictly adhered to. 

1. Follow up with the workshop to ensure that breakdowns are promptly attended to.
