JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic sales or a shop attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, managing stock, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment to drive sales and enhance customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous, and professional service


• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, promotions, and pricing


• Actively promote products and upsell to maximize sales opportunities


• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, mobile money, and card payments


• Issue receipts and ensure proper cash reconciliation at the end of each shift


• Monitor inventory levels, record stock movements, and promptly report shortages or damages


• Assist with receiving, labeling, and arranging new stock


• Ensure shelves and displays are well-stocked, neatly arranged, and properly priced


• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and orderliness in the shop always


• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and escalate issues when necessary


• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards


• Support promotional activities, sales campaigns, and in-store marketing initiatives


• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets


• Open and close the shop as scheduled, ensuring security procedures are followed
