Job Purpose:
The Vendor Growth Manager is responsible for driving the acquisition, retention, and performance growth of vendors/suppliers on the company’s platform or within its supply chain network. This role ensures vendors are onboarded effectively, supported with the right tools, and motivated to maximize their sales and service performance while maintaining strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential vendors in alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct vendor orientation and training on company policies, systems, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with vendors.
- Regularly review vendor performance, providing actionable feedback and growth opportunities.
- Track vendor KPIs (sales, fulfillment rates, customer ratings, compliance, etc.).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve vendor performance and increase their sales.
- Support vendors with promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and assortment expansion.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify vendor growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, logistics) to improve vendor experiences.
- Develop incentive programs to motivate vendors and reward top performers.
- Ensure vendors adhere to contractual agreements, service level standards, and compliance requirements.
